mcom.com circa 1994

In October of 1994, Jamie Zawinski, one of Netscape's core pioneers, created an archive of Mosaic Communications' entire website. This was the website Mosaic Netscape 0.9's users first saw when they launched their freshly downloaded "Netscape" browsers. Presented to you for the first time since 1994, is his archive of the entire, unabridged mcom.com website unavailable to most human eyes for more than five years.

Mosaic Communications' website had a large number of nodes through which users could enter. Select one of the following:

NODE 1. A user could have simply typed in the URL http://mcom.com/ or clicked on the tile logo in the upper right hand corner in their browsers.

NODE 2. A user could also have clicked the "Home" button or typed in the URL http://home.mcom.com for a slightly different entrance point.

NODE 3. A user could have clicked any of the assistance buttons under the location/URL bar in the browser window.

NODE 4. A user could have selected any of these choices in the Netscape Directory menu.

NODE 5. Finally, a user could have selected any of these choices in the Netscape Help menu.
